Vendor Registration Agreement

This agreement is between KANEDIA and ‘’YOU’’ (Vendor). The term ‘’YOU’’ or ‘’YOUR’’ refers to the vendor. The term ‘’WE’’ ‘’US’, and ‘’OUR’’ refers to KANEDIA.

 

VENDOR:

In order to accept payment through VISA or MASTERCARD payment on KANEDIA, you must register as a VENDOR.

 

SAFETY TIPS IF YOU DECIDE TO MEET WITH THE BUYER IN PERSON:

  • As a vendor on our website, you must adhere to all the instructions and everything else written on this agreement. Failure to follow these instructions will result to the immediate termination of your vendor account. WE STRONGLY ADVICE THAT YOU SHOULD NEVER ACCEPT ANY TYPE OF CHEQUE PAYMENT OR BANK TRANSFERE.
  • ALWAYS ACCEPT PAYMENT THROUGH OUR WEBSITE PAYMENT GATEWAY.
  • ALWAYS ACCEPT ONLY LOCAL CURENCY (CASH) – IF YOU WANT TO SELL ”FACE TO FACE”.
  • ALWAYS MEET THE BUYER IN A SAFE PUBLIC PLACE.
  • DO NOT EVER FOLLOW THE BUYER TO ANYWHERE.
  • ALWAYS TELL SOMEONE THAT YOU’RE GOING TO MEET UP A BUYER.
  • IF POSIBLE, ALWAYS GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE WHEN MEETING WITH THE BUYER.
  • BE INFORMED THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY.

 

VENDOR REGISTERATION ON KANEDIA:

Your vendor registration is always free.

You must register with your complete legal name. This name should be exactly the same name on your country’s government issued identity card.

 

YOUR MONEY –  OUR MONEY:

For every product you sell through our website as a vendor, we will take 10% website fees, our payment processor STRIPE will also take their processing fees. You will take all the remaining funds. YOUR FUNDS WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO YOU 7 DAYS AFTER THE CUSTOMER RECEIVES THE ITEM(S) YOU SOLD TO THEM.

You may sell your product(s) in your local currency or in United States Dollars (USD), or in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

 

OUR PAYMENT PROCESSOR FEES ON KANEDIA IS CONSIDERED FAIR BY US.

WE DEAL WITH MAY OTHER PAYMENT PROCESSORS THROUGH OUR 4 OTHER WEBSITES. THEREFORE, WE KNOW WHAT IS FAIR WHEN IT COMES TO PAYMENT PROCESSING FEES.

WE WILL ALWAYS DISCLOSE STRIPE FEE PROCESSING PERCENTAGE TO YOU WHENEVER WE TRANSFERE YOUR FUNDS ON AFRICAN CORNER MARKET.

 

SELLING ON AFRICAN KANEDIA

POSTING AN ITEM FOR SALE:

You must provide the complete product description, product price, product condition (used or new item).

You must provide a picture and written evidence of the product condition. For example: If the product is damaged somewhere, YOU MUST show the damage in a clear picture. You must also disclose that damage on the product description.

 

CUSTOMER SUPPORT:

You must provide your business address, business phone number, business email address, and business hours on your page for everyone to see.

 

SHIPPING AN ITEM ON KANEDIA:

You must set up your SHIPMENT METHOD by using the shipment tools we provided to you on your vendor account. WE ADVISE THAT YOU ALWAYS USE A RELIABLE SHIPPING COMPANY.

WE ALSO REQUIRE THAT YOU MUST SEND THE ITEM THROUGH A ‘’REGISTERED’’ MAIL (REGISTERED SHIPMENT). You must immediately send the buyer their shipment tracking number after you ship their item(s).

***YOU SHOULD NEVER ACCEPT ANY TYPE OF CHEQUE PAYMENT, OR ANY TYPE ON BANK TRANSFERE PAYMENT FROM ANY BUYER.

 

REFUND POLICY ON KANEDIA:

OUR REFUND POLICY: Our refund policy is simple. If the product(s) is marked as ‘’DELIVERED’’ by the postal service, and there is no REFUND REQUEST from the customer after 3 days, we will send the vendor her/his funds 7 (seven) days after the delivery.

YOUR REFUND POLICY:  Your refund policy must be the same as our refund policy. You must clearly display your REFUND POLICY on your page, and on the item description page.

 

DISPUTE ON KANEDIA:

If a customer opens a dispute (refund request or exchange), the buyer must provide written and picture (or video) evidence to back up their dispute. The vendor must prove beyond doubt that the dispute is fair or not (by providing evidence as well).

If there is no reasonable resolution of the dispute between the seller and buyer after 72 hours, we will step into the matter and resolve the issue (based on the evidence available).
